Random acts of kindness

Be mindful my friend. Be grateful. Be positive. Be true. Be kind. Remember, no one has ever become poor by giving. The most genuine acts of kindness are done without fanfare and when no one is looking. Good deeds are done because they need to be done, not for reward, for fame or for favours.

I honestly don’t care if someone is black, white, straight, gay, short, tall, loud, quiet, fat, skinny, rich or poor. If they’re nice to me, I’ll be nice to them.

A random act of kindness, no matter how small, can make a tremendous impact on someone else’s life. Do your little bit of good wherever you are; and do it now. All those little bits of good put together will overwhelm the shadows in a sometimes dark world.

About The Malt House

A keen amateur photographer and wordsmith, I love the countryside and all that it contains. I live in rural South Shropshire, on the border between England and Wales. I enjoy travel, reading, writing, landscape photography and music.
